Hello, and welcome to the brand new blog of the Partnership for Affordable Clean Energy! I’m Lance Brown, the Executive Director of PACE, and I’ll be writing here regularly on energy policy and news. Before I founded PACE, I worked in Alabama politics on both healthcare and economic policy issues. Now, I use my background in policy to make sure our nation’s energy policies are in line with our economic priorities.
With energy legislation in the spotlight, you probably have a lot of questions. What are the provisions of the proposed climate change bills? What effect will these provisions have on my electricity bills or my job? What renewable energy options are available to me and how much do they cost? These are just a few of the questions I’ll try to answer on this blog. I’ll also provide you with the latest news about the climate change legislative debate, coverage of important events and research, and more.
If you have questions, comments, or an interesting link, send me an email at lance@energyfairness.org, or better yet, leave a comment on the blog. You can also follow me on Facebook and Twitter, too, to receive even more updates.
Let’s work together to better understand energy issues – and to make sure that energy policies are both environmentally and economically sound.
